Agartala: Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha on 19 July 2026 said that meritorious students are the driving force behind building a developed and self-reliant Tripura. Addressing a programme to felicitate high-performing students, he stressed the importance of quality education, discipline and innovation in shaping the state’s future.
The Chief Minister congratulated the students for their academic achievements and encouraged them to pursue higher education while contributing to the development of Tripura. He also highlighted the state government’s efforts to improve educational infrastructure, provide scholarships and create better opportunities for young people.
Dr. Saha said that the government is committed to creating an education system that equips students with modern skills and prepares them for national and global opportunities. He urged students to make full use of government initiatives aimed at promoting education, research and innovation.
The Chief Minister reiterated that investing in education is essential for achieving the vision of a ‘Viksit Tripura’ and a ‘Viksit Bharat’. He expressed confidence that today’s students would play a key role in the state’s economic and social progress in the years ahead.
